The Stillman Valley High School National Honor Society (NHS) is keeping busy this summer. During the school year the NHS, led by Michelle Rogers, hosted a loose change and item drive to raise money in support of local troops deployed overseas. The drive collected five boxes full of donated items such as razors, beef jerky, mints, etc. Along with that, the NHS raised over $600. With the money raised, they were able to purchase enough items to fill six more boxes and send them all to their destinations. With all the busyness of the school year over, the boxes were packed and sent out to the troops. Thank you to everyone who donated to the drive. Your support of the NHS project and our local troops is greatly appreciated.
