made by service people during the war with Korea from 1950 to 1953. To the left is
KWVA Commander Arnie Cabello, who also rang the bell as the names of each area
Korean War fatality were read by KWVA members John Scott, Roger Myers, Walter
Landgraf, and Ernie Lewandowski.

Twins Brianna and Ashley Koenig went to Stillman Valley High School together, followed by academic careers at Rock Valley College and Illinois State University, together. It only made sense that both young ladies would decide their next step was to go into the Navy

Stillman Valley Senior, Anna Broski, has been chosen as one of the Rockford Register Star 20 Young Americans of 2018. Meridian CUSD 223 Superintendent, PJ Caposey, said, “Anna has had an incredible high school career and deserves every bit of recognition she is receiving.
