The second round of play after the holiday break brought youth bowlers back to Concorida Lanes, located at 1205 Logan Ave. in Belvidere. In the Bantams league, Mason Kahl led the youngsters with 106 game and a 186 series. Two other bowlers’ stood out from the pack to bring in some high scores in both game play and series play. Angelica Robles had the second highest game score with an 80, and Camdyn Hall had one of the highest series with a 135.

In the Preps division, Brenden Gifford led the boys’ with a 159 game and a 368 series. Rhiannon Kemmer had a 78 game with a 203 series.

In the Junior/Majors category, Danielle Heinz led the division and the girls with a 213 game and a 543 series. Only 14 points behind, Garrett Frazier had a 199 game with a 498 series. With scores like these, there is no doubt why they are considered majors at a junior level, since they are bringing in scores like the professionals.
