Rosemarie Kreutziger, 83, of York, Neb. passed away on Tuesday, Feb.14, in Belton, Mo. She was born on Oct. 29, 1933 to Baltazar and Mariquita Alvarado in Amarillo, Texas.

She grew up in Colorado Springs with her parents and 12 siblings.  She was married in 1955 to John W. Kreutziger Jr., raised six children in Belvidere, Ill., and worked as an early childhood teacher and a home maker.

In 1988, she and her husband John moved to York, Neb. where they resided until John passed in 1999.  Rosemarie remained in York until recently moving into family care.

Rosemarie is survived by her children: John W. (Deb) Kreutziger III of Sycamore, Ill., Virginia (John) Oller of Rockford, Ill., Louis (Katherine) Kreutziger of Leawood, Kan., Raymond (Erin) Kreutziger of Olathe, Kan., Marlene Dulaney of Belton, Mo., and William (Beth) Kreutziger of Savage, Minn.; 17 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law Marilyn Wern of Merrick, NY.

She was preceded in death by her husband John W. Kreutziger Jr. and eight siblings.

A graveside service was held at noon on Friday, Feb. 24, at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Lawrence, Kan.
