Through Friday the games being played in the NUIC will matter when it comes to the final standings and which team is crowned East Champion this year. The Durand Bulldogs know they won’t have that chance this time around, but still have a chance to pursue other honors, if things go upsettingly-well when the post-season tips-off on Monday, Feb. 19.

Things haven’t gone exactly according to plan recently. When the playoffs begin a new opportunity starts with it.

On Saturday, Feb. 10, the Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders issued the Bulldogs a 63-45 loss. February opened with defeats to neighbors Pecatonica and Orangeville. It’s been a bad streak recently, but streaks end and the regular season home closer on Tuesday, Feb. 13 gives the Bulldogs a chance to look to end on an impressive high note.
