For much of the game against the Rockford Christian Royal Lions on Friday, Feb. 23, the Winnebago Indians found themselves trailing.

The Royal Lions started off with a hot hand, draining multiple treys and finding easy layups. After one period of play the Indians found themselves down by nine, 12-21. Andrew Morrissey scored 10 of the Indians points in the frame

In the second quarter ‘Bago’s shots started to fall, but the Royal Lions stayed hot and maintained the nine point lead at half time, 27-36.

Rockford Christian scored the first five points of the third quarter to take what seemed to be a commanding 14-point lead at 41-27.
