The Pec Lions recently held an induction ceremony to induct two new members. Lion Carol Ingram sponsored new members Coty and Jazzma Brown.

Sponsor Lion Carol Ingram stands next to new Lions Club members Coty and Jazzma Brown as they are swore in by Inducting Officer, DG Steve Boettger.

They were inducted at a February dinner meeting which also hosted District Governor Steve Boettger and wife, Lion Kelly from Kirkland. The club also presented DG Steve with a check for $1000 to benefit his fundraising project for Restoring Hope Transplant House. DG Steve was a heart recipient in 2015 and Hope House was very helpful to him and Kelly during his recovery. Hope House is located in Middleton, WI not far from the UW Hospital in Madison and many people from the Northern IL area use their services.

The Pec Lions are always looking for new members and if anyone is interested in more information about our club and serving our community, talk to any Lions member or contact membership chairperson, Lion Cindy Klinger, 815-247-8479.
