On Feb. 21, Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois Service Unit 308 hosted their 2nd Annual World Thinking Day Event, at Pecatonica Elementary School. A total of seven troops participated in the event with each troop representing a country of their choice. The Girl Scouts earned the World Thinking Day Badge 2018 by learning about diversity in the world and by making an impact on others. In addition to each troop hosting a country booth, the Girl Scouts made “Heart” cards to send to cardiac patients at Lurie’s Children Hospital of Chicago.
