The Cherry Valley Public Library, 755 E. State St. Cherry Valley, held its largest fundraiser of the year on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 23-24 with its 7th Annual Mini Golf in the Library and Silent Auction.

“The nine holes are sponsored by different groups, businesses, and individuals,” said Library Director Jane Lenser. “They are all unique and different. Hole 9 has been sponsored by the Cherry Valley Men’s Club for the third year. Every year they tweak it and improve it.

“Mini golf appeals to people of all ages. We have some grandparents who bring their grandchildren every year. We have a young couple who comes on a date each year. It is a great multi-generational activity.

“We have 120 auction items/baskets. All of the items have been donated by individuals and businesses in the community. Even our 10th Hole Concession Stand…
