Area gymnasts place at the ‘Heart Flips a Beat’ meet

J&J TRAMPOLINE AND TUMBLING
J&J Trampoline and Tumbling has hosted a larger competition in Indiana the past three years and decided to bring their annual competition home again this year. The “Heart Flips a Beat Meet” was held at the J&J Trampoline and Tumbling Training center and featured 100 athletes from the Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana area. The competition featured the events of Trampoline and Tumbling and helped to raise funds for the competitive traveling team. Athletes competed in USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic developmental levels 1-10 as well as Elite Levels on Power Tumbling. J&J Team Results include: Giana Cimino (Winnebago) 1st Trampoline L4, 2nd Tumbling L4; Hayden DeBord (Pecatonica) 1st Trampoline L5, 3rd Tumbling L6; Melanie Denny (Winnebago) 1st L4 Trampoline, 1st L4 Tumbling; Brianna Fish (Byron) 3rd L7 Tumbling; Cassidy Foster (Pecatonica) 4th L5 Tumbling; Addyson Hoffman (Davis) 4th L4 Trampoline, 4th L4 Tumbling; Amber Lee (Durand) 1st L9 Trampoline, 1st L8 Tumbling; Sarah Thompson (Davis) 1st Jr Elite Tumbling; Pheona Warden (Winnebago) 1st L8 Trampoline, 2nd L7 Tumbling; Jolene Weerda (Winnebago) 3rd L8 Trampoline, 1st L6 Tumbling; Morgan Wyss (Dakota) 1st L5 Trampoline, 1st L5 Tumbling; and Kylie Bloomquist (Winnebago) 2nd L4 Trampoline, 3rd L5 Tumbling.
