Brook Bennett and Elizabeth Oltmanns sold ducks during last year’s Ducky Drop.

What is it called when it’s raining ducks and geese? Stillman Valley’s Future Business Leaders of America is sponsoring their 2nd annual Ducky Drop, and these ducks will be falling from the sky onto a tarp at the last home Stillman Valley football game on Friday, Oct. 30. Be a part of the fun and buy a duck for $5 bucks.
How does the Ducky Drop work? You buy a duck for $5, and then you pick your lucky duck from a container of ducks. On the duck is your unique “ducky number.” FBLA members will then record your name, your unique ducky number and contact information. Buy as many ducks as you want. Buy one for each member of your family. Buy one for each of your grandchildren. The more the better.
Can’t make a football game and you want to buy a duck? Please send an email to Cathie Murphy @ [email protected], Ryan Read @ [email protected] or Tammy Pierson @ HYPERLINK “mailto:[email protected]” \h [email protected] for more information on how to purchase a duck.
Following the last Stillman Valley home game (Oct. 25), the ducks will be hoisted high up into the air by Tim Devries and then dropped onto a tarp that has a large bull-eyes in the middle. The four ducks that land closest to the bull-eyes will be declared the winners. Will your duck fly closest to the bulls-eye?
Prizes are as follows: First prize: $200; Second prize: $150; Third prize: $100 and Fourth prize: $50. You do not have to be present to win. For more information, please contact Cathie Murphy @ [email protected], Ryan Read @ [email protected] or Tammy Pierson @[email protected].
