Textile & Fiber Arts Show will be at 11 a.m. at the Old Courthouse Arts Center, 101 N. Johnson, Woodstock, now through October 25. This event features a large array of woven textiles created by local hand weavers from northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. From Sea to Table – Exploring the World of Seafood will be from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Loyola University Retreat and Ecology Campus, 2710 S. Country Club Road, Woodstock. The concept is simple: find a good spot for bird watching, sit in one spot for a designated time period, and count all the bird species you see or hear.
