Village of Algonquin – Holiday Rock on the Fox will be at Riverfront Park, 201 N. Harrison Street, Algonquin from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. Kick off your holiday season at the annual Holiday Rock on the Fox at Riverfront Park! Kiwanis Santa Run for Kids will be at the Raue Center for the Arts in Crystal Lake, 26 N. Williams Street, Crystal Lake. The Kiwanis Santa Run is a 5k – Walk and 1 mile kids dash. Owl Walk will be at Glacial Park, Lost Valley Visitor Center, Route 31 & Harts Road, Ringwood from 5 – 7 p.m. Search for sights and sounds of the owls that reside at Glacial Park during the winter months. First, we’ll go for a hike to listen for owls. Next. We will head inside where a slide presentation and a live owl will introduce hikers to see magnificent creatures.
