LOVES PARK – On Tuesday, Dec. 29, at about 11:20 p.m., Loves Park officers were dispatched to a traffic crash in the 1800 block of Harlem Road, near the intersection with N. Alpine Road.

A driver eastbound on Harlem Road left the south side of the roadway and crashed into a utility pole and small shrub, causing the vehicle to roll onto its top.

The driver and only occupant of the vehicle, Danielle Campisi, 25, of Loves Park was ejected from the vehicle and landed on a nearby residence.

She was located by officers on the ground near the residence, in the 1800 block of Harlem Road. Danielle was transported to a nearby hospital, where she is still currently being treated for her injuries.

No charges have been filed, at this time, and the accident still remains

under investigation.
