ROCKTON – Roger S. Campbell, 65, of Rockton, Ill., died at 2:40 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2016 in his own home after a brief illness.

Roger was born March 31, 1950 in Beloit, Wis. the son of Lawrence “Babe” and Betty (Kramar) Campbell. He attended Hononegah High School. Married Nancy L. Evans in Rockton, Ill. Roger was employed on the production line at Taylor Freezer for 32 years.

He was a veteran of Vietnam 1970 to 1971 serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Walter Graham American Legion Post #332, Rockton, Ill., Rockton Boat Club and was a Volunteer Fireman for Rockton Fire Department.

Survivors include wife, Nancy Campbell; daughter Brandi (Jay Anderson) Campbell; son, Babe (Kristen) Campbell; grandchildren Grace, Jessie, Oliver and Elliot; sister, Ruth Ann (Bud) Andrews and Regina (Leonard) Osmund; Numerous Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by parents and brother Ralph.
