LeRoy Grange honors members of the community

	Colleen Leach, Wayne Zelasko, and Deputy Chief Bob Koehn hold their awards proudly.

In past years, only two people have been so honored each year – one a member of the Grange (a Granger) and one a non-member of the Grange. This year, each Grange is honoring five people: a Granger, a non-Granger, a police officer, a firefighter, and a teacher.

 
 

Belvidere Youth Baseball honors John Ross and John Fish for all of their efforts

The Board of Directors also dedicated the complex to John Fish, and his long-time coaching partner, friend, and mentor, John Ross, who manages building and grounds for the organization, and has been involved for over 40 years.

 
 

Kids Fishing Tournament held at Candlewick Lake

	Dylan Prete was the 1st Place winner in the Age 14-16 group. Dylan also caught a 21-½ inch Pike.

Trophies, full tackle boxes, rods and reels were awarded to the winners from the three categories but no child left empty handed.

 
 

YMCA to get new medical equipment

Noble Way honors retired Police Chief

Noble Way and E. Menomonie St are now one and the same.

The City of Belvidere and the Belvidere Police Department dedicated E. Menominee St. as Noble Way.

 
 

22nd Annual Farm Breakfast is delicious and entertaining

Small vs. Tall can equal lots of fun

When Belvidere Police Chief Woody heard that kickball was one of the activities she was planning, he said, “Let me know when you play kickball. I’ll play. It will be fun to get out there with the kids and have a good time with them.”
