Bodies found in Pecatonica River identified as missing men from 1976

	This 1966 Impala with skeletal remains inside was hoisted from the Pecatonica River by a crane on March 11. In a press release sent by the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office last week, it was revealed the skeletal remains were that of two missing men from 1976.

    Earlier this year on March 11, the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office responded to a call regarding possible human skeletal remains found in a submerged vehicle in the Pecatonica River.
