Winnebago Middle School student Jordyn Roscoe provided Culver’s Frozen Custard treats for the residents at Prairie View Assisted Living on a recent Monday evening.

Local student earned money to pay for supplies to host dessert party for residents
Jordyn Roscoe, a 6th grader at Winnebago Middle School was participating in a Passion Project. This program was started by two Winnebago Middle school teachers, Ty True, who teaches Math & Social Studies and Candis Michaud who teaches Social Studies. This is their second year of doing it and it’s been very successful.
Jordyn with some help from a friend, earned money to provide Culver’s Frozen Custard treats for the residents at Prairie View Assisted Living on a recent Monday evening. Jordyn’s mom said that she came up with the idea all on her own and raised money to buy the frozen custard and toppings. She took the orders, scooped the custard and served the residents. She offered four different kinds of custard, a choice of five syrups and seven special toppings including blueberries and crushed or whole Oreo cookies.
