Roscoe Trustees approve additional Police Dept., Village Hall project costs

Roscoe Trustees approved a change order to the contract with Larson and Larson Builders at the May 1, Village meeting. The order includes additional flooring and painting in Village Hall for the amount not to exceed $25,000.
Trustees also approved a special event permit including the use of Village owned property for Nellie’s Barn Sale.” The event will be held behind Meyers Canine Colony, 10985 Main St. in Roscoe. The approval is for Thursday, June 14 through Saturday, June 16.
During the new business portion of the meeting, Village Administrator Scott Sanders discussed the purchase of the Purge System Ventilation Components for the Roscoe Police Department Gun range, at a cost estimate of $67,081, and the purchase of Rubber Block Trap and the Action Target Field Support Installation for the Police Department Gun Range at a cost not to exceed $30,143.50. This was a first reading. Since completion cost systems are still being looked at, the issue will be laid over until the next Board meeting, May 15.
In other issues: The Board reviewed project costs, to date for the Police Department building and alteration to the Village Hall.
