Stillman Valley students qualify for National Merit Scholarship
Stillman Valley High School students, Nicholas Youman and
, have qualified to enter the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Students are chosen based of their test scores from the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
These students have shown outstanding academic potential and are among the 50,000 highest-scoring participants in the nation, who will be recognized as either Semifinalists or Commended students in the fall.
SVHS Principal, Mrs. Leslie Showers, stated, “Mister Aidan Taylor and Mister Nicholas Youman are outstanding students who are committed to excellence in their academic pursuits.
Both students demonstrate strong leadership skills and are admired by their peers, faculty, and staff at SVHS.” In August Aidan and Nicholas will learn if they move forward in the competition as a Semifinalists.
