Winnebago Middle School track program has success at State
Several Winnebgao Middle School athletes competed at the IESA 3A State Meet in mid-May, with some season bests and four events taking home medals. What a way to finish a great season.
7th Grade Girls:
100 hurdles – Brûlé 18.75 for 10th place
High jump – Britt 4’5″ for 14th place
Discus – Hartmann 67-11 for 6th place
4×100 relay – Mecum, Brûlé, Corl, Warkentien, 57.65 for 7th place
4×400 relay – Mecum, Brûlé, Warkentien, Corl, 4:49.93 for 12th place
8th Grade Girls:
Discus – Warkentien 68-11 for 11th place
4×100 relay – Kinsman, Warkentien, Ellis, Falnes, 55.67 for 7th place
4×200 relay – Cimino, Thomas, Kinsman, Olson 2:04.26 for 9th place
7th Grade Boys:
High jump – Freeman 5’1 for 14th place
8th Grade Boys
800m – Hodgdon 2:17 for 11th place
1600m – Erb 5:00.73 for 6th place
High jump – Smith 5’6″ for 9th place
4×100 relay – Linder, Lyons, Fox, Smith 50.40 for 10th place
4×400 relay – Hodgdon, Linder, Smith, Fox 4:05.15 for 16th place
