Belvidere/Boone County Metro Narcotics Unit make arrest of Belvidere man
BELVIDERE – On Thursday, Nov. 19, a three month investigation by the Belvidere/Boone County Metro Narcotics Unit, Boone County Sheriff’s Detectives and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Task Force, resulted in the arrest of a Belvidere Resident on felony drug charges.
Daniel L. Lamb, 37, of Belvidere, was charged with two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine) within 1,000 feet of a public park – (Class X Felony). Lamb remains in the custody of the Boone County Jail with a $100,000 bond.
On Thursday, Nov. 19, following a three month investigation, the Belvidere/Boone County Metro Narcotics Unit arrested Lamb on a warrant for two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine) within 1,000 feet of a public park.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible. Each Class X Felony is punishable by six to 30 years in the Department of Corrections.
