The Illinois State’s Attorneys Association is a bi-partisan organization composed of all elected State’s Attorneys throughout the State of Illinois whose purpose is to promote the orderly administration of justice and enforcement of the law.

“I appreciate the honor to be elected by my colleagues to the Executive Committee.  I intend to work to ensure the highest quality of prosecutorial services to the citizens of Illinois,” Courier said.

Courier is a 1998 graduate of the Northern Illinois University College of Law, a 1995 graduate of the University of Illinois, and a 1991 graduate of Belvidere High School.  Courier has served as the elected State’s Attorney for Boone County for two terms.

She later worked at the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s office, where she was promoted to Chief Assistant State’s Attorney, head of the civil division, immediately prior to being elected Boone County State’s Attorney.
