Lunch with the Bunny will be at 11 a.m. at Old Towne Hall, above Heisler’s Bootery, 54 Bring St., Crystal Lake. Learn to Burn will be at 9 a.m. at Hennnen Conservation Area, 4622 Dean St., Woodstock. The Land Conservancy of McHenry County, a nonprofit land conservation organization in McHenry County, invites the public to attend this year’s Learn to Burn. This workshop will teach landowners about the value of prescribed burns and how to safely and effectively conduct one. The fee is $35/members and $50/non-members. Space is limited. Quilt Basting Day will be at 9:30 a.m. at McHenry County Historical Society Museum, 6422 Main St., Union. Those wishing to help set up and ready the quilt on the rack should come at 9:30 a.m. “Basting,” the long stitches used to hold the top, batting and backing of a quilt together while the quilting is done, starts at 10 a.m. It will be followed by a “brown bag” potluck, in which everyone brings a sandwich to cut in half to share, plus a dessert.
