Belvidere Barracudas Head Coach
BELVIDERE – The Belvidere Barracudas recently competed in the Midwest Regional Swim Meet, held at the University of Minnesota Aquatics Center on April 2 and April 3. The Barracudas were up against 59 teams from nine other states throughout the Midwest.
Barracudas 4The Regional Qualifying Team was comprised of: Sarah Fitzgerald, Daniel Golonka, Riley Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Kaiya Kolberg, Kaleb Kolberg, Drew Mateja, Madeline McClain, Sonya McClain, Kayle Mickey, Abigail Muck, Dellana Muck, Maggie O’Brien, Devon Page, Dylan Page, Chloe Sanford, and Matthew Walsh.
Individual Medalists were: Daniel Golonka (4th place for the 100 Breaststroke), Sonya McClain (3rd place for the 50 Freestyle), Dellana Muck (3rd place for the 50 Freestyle, 2nd place for the 200 Freestyle, 4th place, 100 Freestyle, and 1st place in the 50 Butterfly).
The Barracudas finished 11th place overall out of 59 teams.

The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability.
