Annual Maple Syrup Festival is March 16
The Byron Forest Preserve District will be hosting their annual Maple Syrup Festival on Saturday, March 16 from 8 to 11 a.m. at their Heritage Farm Museum located at 8059 North River Road in Byron. This family event will feature hayrides to see the maple tree tapping, tours of the maple syrup evaporation process, children’s crafts and a pancake breakfast featuring 100% pure local made maple syrup. The cost for the breakfast held at the Heritage Farm Museum Expo Building is $5 per person with children six and under free. Maple syrup will also be available for sale while supplies last.
