Winnebago PD, school district to continue partnership

	Winnebago Police and the Community Unit School District 323 will continue their partnership for the School Resource Officer program, which began last school year. Officer Jeffrey Spelman, a local resident and graduate of Winnebago High School with more than 20 years of law enforcement experience, will again fulfill the SRO role in the school district.

	The Talcott family came together during a reunion held from Aug. 1-4. On Aug. 3, the Village of Rockton recognized the family for their many contributions throughout Rockton's history. Trustee Jodi May declared that day to be proclaimed as Talcott Family Heritage Day on Aug. 3.
