Belvidere boys’ soccer team loses to Crystal Lake Central
CRYSTAL LAKE – On Saturday, Oct. 3, the Belvidere High School boys’ soccer team traveled to Crystal Lake to face off against Crystal Lake Central High School. Crystal Lake Central won 3-1.
Crystal Lake Central started off strong scoring the first two goals of the game. Cade Husendorf, #25, made the first goal followed by Crystal Lake Central teammate, Zachary Antolak, #15, scoring the second goal of the game.
Not out of the running yet, Belvidere High School player Mark Silis, #19, scored the first and only goal for Belvidere with an assist from teammate Jesus Cortez.
Crystal Lake Central came back and scored the final goal of the game. Gustavo Corta, #16, made the last goal, increasing Crystal Lake Central’s lead to 3-1.
This loss puts the Belvidere Bucs at a record of 11-4-1.
