Belvidere/Boone County Metro Narcotics Unit makes another arrest
On Wednesday, June 8, a two month multi-jurisdictional investigation by the Belvidere/Boone County Metro Narcotics Unit and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Task Force resulted in the arrest of a Rockford resident on felony drug charges.
Gregory M. Hill, 32 of Rockford, was charged with three counts of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance (cocaine) within 1,000 feet of a school, a Class One Felony. Hill remains in the custody of the Winnebago County Jail on $100,000 bond.
On Wednesday, June 8, Hill was arrested in Rockford pursuant to a two month investigation by the Belvidere/Boone County Metro Narcotics Unit and the DEA Task Force. Hill was arrested on three counts of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance (cocaine) within 1,000 feet of a school, a Class One Felony.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible.
Each Class One Felony is punishable by four to 15years in the Department of Corrections.
