“The Trash or Treasure Event on Nov. 5, will be the perfect opportunity to finally find out how much your vintage and antique items are worth,” Anna Pivoras, of the Boone County Historical Museum (BCHM), said. “I think everyone has at least one or two things in their home that they have always wondered about.” This is the third year for the Boone County Historical Museum’s Trash or Treasure Event. “It is a wonderful fundraiser for the museum,” Pivoras said. “We are so thankful to Edward Jones for sponsoring this Event. Having objects appraised can be a costly and difficult process. During Trash or Treasure, we will have professional appraisers with a variety of backgrounds and areas of expertise. They will be able to provide information on almost every object that comes through the doors.”

The experts will appraise items at $7 per item. The money will go to support the Boone County Historical Museum. The experts who will be at this event will be: Greg Swan and Josh Hachmeister of Hack’s Auction and Realty Services, Inc.; Russell Longenecker of Vintage Zone; and Kris Bryant of Wooden-It-Be-Nice.

Hack’s Auction and Realty Services, Inc. was established in 1961. “Hack’s Auction and Realty Services, Inc. is a third generation family-owned and operated business in Pecatonica, Ill.
