Byron Public Library announces change in programming
Due to increased COVID cases in Ogle County and the Byron schools implementing an adaptive pause, all in-person programming at the library is on hold until Jan. 4. At that time we will reevaluate when programming can resume. The library is still open during normal hours for book browsing and check-out at this time.

The Byron Library has a new website address! Our website can now be found at www.byronlibrary.org. Check it out, and be sure to update your bookmarks!
Curbside delivery
The library is open for browsing, but patrons can still use our curbside service! Place your holds online at byronlibrary.org or call us at 815-234-5107.
Not sure what you want? Call us for help! We will call or email you with a confirmation when your holds are ready to be picked up. Call us when you arrive at the library, and we will bring your items out to you, already checked out. A receipt with your due dates will be included with your items.
COVID-19 vaccine clinic

Noon to 6 p.m.
Join us as we host a community COVID-19 vaccination clinic in partnership with the Illinois Department of Health and IEMA. This clinic is open to the public, ages 12 and up, and will offer both first doses and boosters. If you would like to set up an appointment please call the library at 815-234-5107.
Blood drive

CBD 101

Join Lynn O’Hare from O’Hares Naturals, here in Byron, as she gives a brief history of hemp, examples of conditions that CBD can help in relieving, as well as methods of application that are available. Center for Retirement Living

Arnie Ames will be presenting programs offered by Rock Valley College’s Center for Retirement Living (CLR). CLR offers programs in several different categories. There are currently 120 different classes planned for Spring, 2022. CLR also offers day and multiple-day trips and social events. Come and see what is available for the 50+ crowd at CLR.
