This is a firefighter tradition that has been going on over 60 years. We take pride in setting this day aside each year to support the MDA. They have made great strides over the past couple of years and medications are impacting children’s lives.
“I will have been here 30 years on Sept. 5. My last day is 9-11 in honor of all those who didn’t make it out. Retired dispatcher Rosie White is coming back to do my final call.”
After about four hours, the teams had solved all ten puzzles.
“This is the 14th Annual Ice Cream Social,” said BCMS executive director Anna Pivoras. “It is our big fundraiser for the year.”
