Cherry Valley Public Library displays model trains
CHERRY VALLEY – Operating model trains along with additional railroad items will be on display at the Cherry Valley Public Library between Christmas and New Year’s.
Local model railroad hobbyists will be on hand running portable model train layouts, demonstrating switching, showing model building techniques, and discussing the hobby of model railroading.
Model railroad layout design and photos of local model railroad layouts will be highlighted. Additional railroad artwork and artifacts will be on display.
The model trains will be on display in the Meeting Room at the library, located at 755 E. State St. in Cherry Valley starting on Sunday, Dec. 27 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and continuing Monday, Dec. 28 through Wednesday, Dec. 30 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. each day.
