Concordia Lanes continues junior bowling league

On Saturday, Dec. 3, boys and girls from Boone County flocked to Concordia Lanes, located at 1205 Logan Ave. in Belvidere, to bowl in the junior bowling league.
No competitors joined in on the Cookies and Milk league fun, but older bowlers did join in on the Bantams, Preps, and Junior/Majors league play. Each of these categories saw higher scores than any time before this season.
In the Bantams division, Angelica Robles led the pack with a 100 game and a 177 series. Coming in close to her lead was Mason Kahl with an 86 game and a 167 series.
In the Preps category, Joey Kallah led the group with the highest game score of 119. Brenden Gifford led the boys in the highest series with a 315. For the girls, Mollie Jones came out on top with a 111 game and a 293 series.
In the junior/majors division, Garret Frazier topped the group with a 178 game and a 453 series. Coming in a close second was Danielle Heinz, who led the girls with a 169 game and a 418 series.
