‘Cutting Cancer for Tim O’Hare’ benefit results announced
BYRON – We are grateful to everyone who helped make the “Cutting Cancer for Tim O’Hare” benefit on Sunday June 28 at Prairie View Golf Course a meaningful and memorable experience for the O’Hare Family.
Including our 152 golfers, there were 350 guests for dinner. The silent and live auctions inlcuded 115 items donated by stateline families and businesses. The 20’ x 40’ tents donated by Spirit Tent Rental of Byron, helped provide a dry and comfortable space for all guests…despite the evening showers.
Tim told us that having this event gave them something for which to look forward, other than treatment.
“Our most sincere thanks to all of our family and friends who have helped us at this difficult time. Your love and support has lifted us up, and for that we are very grateful. We have appreciated the overwhelming amount of prayers, caring thoughts, and acts of kindness. Tim, Lynn, Dane, and Kelsey O’Hare.”
To all sponsors, donors, volunteers and event guests, your participation and generosity makes you a part of something really special. Life is easier when we are a part of a network of friends and family, a neighborhood…a village. Thank you for being a part of Tim’s village.
If you know someone who wasn’t able to join us on June 28, but would like to support the O’Hare Family, a “Tim O’Hare Benefit” account has been established at Byron Bank. You can drop checks off directly at the bank or mail to: 8918 N. Sunnyside Drive, Byron, 61010. Stop in at O’Hare’s Hairport to visit with Tim or leave him a note when he’s out for treatment and doctor appointments.
