Drug dealer sentenced to seven years in Boone County
BOONE COUNTY – Boone County State’s Attorney Michelle Courier announced on Thursday, Jan. 21 that Kelsey Rogers, 35, of Rockford, was sentenced to seven years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for drug delivery charges.
On April 30, 2015, and May 1, 2015, Rogers sold a substance containing less than a gram of heroin to a confidential informant. Both transactions took place within 1,000 feet of Sheffield Meadows, a senior citizen’s complex in Belvidere.
