The IOU Club starts off the Easter season with an Easter Egg Hunt on the Saturday before Palm Sunday each year. They offer small candies and toys and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny and the Boone County Fair Queen and Little Miss.

The Boone County Historical Museum held their first Easter celebration on Saturday, April 20, with the Easter Bunny, face painting, baby chicks, games, cookies, Comfort Dogs, and coloring pages. The Women’s Club of Boone County offered a table where kids could plant and take home a bean. Over 434 people attended during the event’s first hour.

For their third Easter Egg Hunt, the B1 Assembly of God on 7th St. offered over 20,000 plastic eggs filled with goodies and prizes, as well candies, spread across the playing fields across the street from the church. Over 400 small and large prizes, including seven bicycles, were printed on slips of paper in hidden amongst the scattered eggs the kids gathered. Hundreds of people attended.

The prizes could be redeemed inside B1 where they were displayed.
