Edward Eugene Polsgrove, 71, of Rockton, Ill. died at 10:07 am Saturday, July 23, 2016 in Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, Ill., after a lengthy illness.

He was born Nov. 2, 1944 in Campbell, Mo., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Delmar and Dorothy (Perry) Polsgrove. He graduated from Campbell High School class of 1962.

He is a veteran of the U.S. Army. Married to the former Carolyn S. Younger in Malden, Mo. Edward started and later co-owned Universal Feeder; and owned and operated DieCast in Machesney Park, Ill.

Survivors include wife Carolyn of Rockton, Ill.; daughter Junell Fosnew of South Beloit, Ill.; sister Betty (Pete) Hirtz of Cape Girardeau, Mo.

He was predeceased by his parents, and 1 brother. Funeral ceremonies took place at noon on Thursday July 28, 2016 in McCorkle Funeral Home – Rockton Chapel 767 N Blackhawk Blvd Rockton, Ill., with Pastor Dan Herman of the Old Stone Church officiating.
