This year’s Mercyhealth Development Foundation’s Golf Play Day event raised more than $20,000 for the Mercyhealth Prehospital and Emergency Services Center training and education programs for first responders throughout the region.

The Mercyhealth Development Foundation’s annual Golf Play Day raised more than $20,000, thanks to the support of golfers, volunteers and corporate sponsors. The charity outing was held May 17 at the Beloit Club and attracted 144 Mercyhealth Development Foundation supporters.

This year’s event raised more than $20,000 for the Mercyhealth Prehospital and Emergency Services Center training and education programs for first responders throughout the region.

“Thanks to our generous supporters, we’re able to offer state-of-the-art training for local fire fighters, paramedics and emergency medical technicians,” said Jennifer Johns, director of Community Development and Mercyhealth Development Foundation.

The Mercyhealth Development Foundation provides development and oversight of philanthropic giving to support Mercyhealth’s mission of providing exceptional health care services, with a passion for making lives better.
