Harlem split its volleyball matches this week, sweeping Jefferson before falling to Guilford in three sets.

The Huskies are 9-3 overall and 6-2 in the NIC-10, but Harlem has lost to Hononegah and Guilford, the two teams it needs to climb over to win the conference, in the past two weeks.

Bryson Berry led the Huskies with nine kills against the J-Hawks and sophomore Payton Mackey added five. Lucas Harkness had six digs as the Huskies won, 25-16, 25-16.

The Huskies got off to a good start against Guilford, winning the first set, 25-19. The Vikings, though, won the last two sets, 25-18, 25-21.
