Incoming superintendent hosts discussions on future of Belvidere School District
BELVIDERE – The incoming superintendent, Dr. Daniel Woestman, will ask parents questions on what they would like to see for the future of the District 100 school district.
These questions include:
What do you think are the strengths and challenges of the Belvidere School District?
What do the schools do for you, your family, or your organization?
What are your hopes for the Belvidere School District over the next five years?
These questions will be discussed in a series of conversations in the Belvidere School District. Parents are encouraged to attend a conversation at their child’s school, but are welcome to participate in one of two conversations open to the community.
The conversations will be provided only in English at these times:
On April 21 from 7:40 a.m. to 8:40 a.m., there will be a discussion at Meehan Elementary School.
On April 27, from 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., there will be a discussion at Belvidere North High School.
On April 28 from 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., there will be a discussion at Belvidere High School.
On May 3 from 8:45 a.m. to 9:40 a.m., there will be a discussion at Belvidere South Middle School.
On May 4 from 7:40 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. there will be a discussion at Perry Elementary School.
On May 5 from 7:40 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. there will be a discussion at Seth Whitman Elementary School.
On May 9 from 8:50 a.m. to 9:40 a.m. there will be a discussion at Belvidere Central Middle School.
On May 11 from 7:40 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. there will be a discussion at Lincoln Elementary School.
On May 12 from 7:40 a.m. to 8:40 a.m., there will be a discussion at Caledonia Elementary School.
On May 18 from 7:40 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. there will be a discussion at Washington Academy.
Evening conversations will also be open to the community and will be held on April 27 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Belvidere North High School and on April 28 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Belvidere High School.
A conversation in Spanish will be held on May 19 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Washington Academy.
