Join Belvidere Park District on pottery adventure
BELVIDERE – Let’s get artsy!
Join the Belvidere Park District as they take a short trip up to Roscoe to paint your own pottery R and L Ceramics on Tuesday, Feb. 23.
Participants will choose a piece of pottery and have the opportunity to customize their piece. The goal is to “relax and learn” in a fun environment.
After a fun morning of painting, the group will grab a quick bite to eat in Roscoe before heading back to Belvidere.
The day of fun will begin with pick-up at the Rivers Edge Recreation Center in Belvidere at 8:15 a.m. The day will end with the Rec. Center as the drop-off point at 3 p.m.
The fee for the trip is $34 to $51 depending on participation. The fee includes pottery and painting class and transportation by park district vans.
Space is limited, so register early. Participants must register by Feb. 16.
A minimum of 10 participants are needed for the trip and a maximum of 25 are allowed.
Participants should remember to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the departure time of 8:15 a.m. The van will leave on time with or without you.
If you are registered for the trip and are unable to attend, please contact the Park District Administration office as soon as possible.
Trips may be cancelled due to low enrollment.
Participants will be required to fill out an emergency form before boarding the vans.
Arrival time back to the park district is an approximation, due to weather and traffic.
The trip to Roscoe will have some walking, but it is very little.
To register for this event, please contact the Belvidere Park District at (815) 547-5711.
