Machesney Park man arrested after pointing gun at couple
On Feb. 5, 2017 at about 3:45 p.m., Rockford Police officers were sent to the Walgreens, 1602 Kishwaukee St., in reference to reports of a man with a gun.
Upon arrival, officers met with a female victim who claimed that a subject driving a silver GMC pickup truck had pointed a handgun at her and her boyfriend.
She provided officers with the license plate from the suspect’s vehicle. The vehicle returned to 27-year-old Machesney Park resident, Bruno Escamilla. Officers learned that Escamilla was wanted on two Winnebago County warrants.
While speaking with the victim, patrol officers conducting a neighborhood search located the suspect vehicle, unoccupied in the 1600 block of 9th Street.
Officers set up surveillance and a short time later, observed
