Hononegah High School (HHS) Senior Max Miller will be heading to Cedarville University in Ohio next fall. Miller recently signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball for the independent Baptist school. According to HHS Athletic Director Steve Cofoid, Cedarville University is a member of two national athletics associations; an NCAA Division ll member as well as a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association.

Before signing the letter of intent, Max thanked his teammates, his family and coaches for their support and encouragement. HHS Basketball Coach Mike Miller said Max has been an impressive member of the team, as well as a good kid. “Max has been a positive influence on his teammates.”

Coach Miller said Max averaged 12 points per game and eight rebounds per game during his Junior year.

He was 2016, First Team NIC 10 All Conference, and First Team All- Area- Beloit Daily News.

Max plans to major in Criminal Justice at Cedarville University, with the intention of someday becoming an FBI agent.
