Helping Hands Pantry will be hosting their Seventh Annual Pasta Ball Fundraiser on Nov. 5, at Forest Hills Lodge on West Lane Road in Machesney Park. Entertainment this year will be provided by Street Corner Symphony, an acappella group based out of Nashville, Tenn. Fans of NBC’s vocal competition show, “The Sing Off,” will recognize this group as the runner-up on Season 2.  This event is the major fundraiser for the Pantry, which has been serving the northern Winnebago County area since 2003. The Pasta Ball includes a catered dinner by Nunzio’s Restaurant, DJ Ron Reiner providing music, and desserts provided by Halo Cupcakes. There is also a silent auction, raffles, 50/50, and door prizes.

Helping Hands Pantry is a recognized non-profit, 501(c)3 organization which is 100% volunteer operated. What this means for you is that all of the proceeds from this event go toward maintaining the pantry and providing food for friends in our community who have a need at this time. Please join us in doing all we can to eliminate the food insecurity that so many in our area are still struggling to overcome.

Pasta Ball is a very fun evening for all who attend. The cost is $50 per person. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner being served at 6 p.m. Seating for this event can be reserved online at: www.helpinghandspantry.com or by contacting Ashley at (815) 980-0208.
