Pecatonica Key Club raised $5000 to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network by hosting the Mr. PHS pageant on Saturday, Feb. 23. Senior Libby Miller was instrumental in the orchestration of this event, along with the help of her fellow students within the organization.
Mr. PHS was a night of entertainment for a great cause. The contestants competed in formal wear, outfit of choice (which this year all the boys and their escorts chose a themed outfit to wear), talent, question and answer, and the contestant and his escort that raised the most money were awarded points. Kelton Gann was selected as 2019 Mr. PHS, his escort for the nght was Reese Williams.
Contestants in the pageant included: #1 Bryce Fitzanko (Fr), #2 Hunter Hoffman (Fr), #3 Ryan Salamon (Fr), #4 Jacob Allison (Soph), #5 Tre’von Burfield-Stifter (Soph), #6 Gabe Howard (Soph), #7 Kelton Gann (Jr.), #8 Elijah Lictfuss (Jr.), #9 Rocco Revella (Jr.), #10 Harrison Beaves Lewis (Sr.), #11 Thomas Herbig (Sr.), #12 Dominick Milam (Sr.).
Talent Time was a big hit. Video from the event can be found on the Pecatonica Fan’s Club or the Pecatonica CUSD 321 Facebook pages. Give either one of those pages a LIKE and you can see the show.

Best Couple – Thomas Herbig and Renee Carr
Best Dressed – Kelton Gann

The Pecatonica High School Key Club also raised donations through sponsoring a badminton tournament, having a Culver’s night, game activities and generous donations from local businesses.
