Rockford Park District gives awards to Gold Star Performance winners
Last week, the Rockford Park District convened for our routine quarterly all-staff meeting. These meetings are a time to recognize both teams and individual employees who have gone above and beyond in their roles to successfully serve our community and act as exceptional coworkers! Below are our employees/teams of the quarter!
Haskell Team: Selena Williams, Dianne Manning, Mark Lambert, Kelsey Roger, Atysiah Thomas, Shakeya Horton – This crew truly embodies our “one team, one goal” vision at the Park District.
“By dividing the key roles based on their individual skillsets in tutoring, arts and crafts, and balancing fun with work, they transformed challenges into successes. Their dedication made our after-school program thrive for our children!
Easton Demus – Since joining us in December, Easton has been a fantastic asset to the Park District team. He prepared all park ball diamonds for spring and earned several key certifications in just 5 months. Easton has become known for being reliable, hardworking, and honest, traits that all our Park District employees strive for!
Application Team: Mike Costello, Haley Varble, Sara Saunders, Camille Blake, Amy McIntyre, and Catie Vernon – This team worked dedicatedly to finding and implementing an exceptional, user-friendly app for the Park District that meets the needs of our community.
Elizabeth Richardson-Davis – Our cherished party hostess at Sapora Playworld, Elizabeth ensures every need is met, making parties stress-free and fun for parents! From managing messes to providing carts and quietly popping balloons, Elizabeth consistently delivers exceptional customer service!
Mila Reed – Mila is a rock star at Lockwood Park, consistently going above and beyond. She’s creative, timely, and handles countless behind-the-scenes tasks, ensuring every detail is perfect for our events and activities. Mila’s innovative ideas and flawless execution align perfectly with the Park District’s goals for continuous improvement and forward thinking!
Christian Traff – Christian tackles the toughest tasks with skill and a great attitude, from building snow sculpture boxes to hanging nets at great heights.
He even saves the district significant costs by handling big jobs like dismantling condemned bleachers. Christian always puts his best effort into helping his coworkers and serving our community.
