Same bowlers hold rank as highest scorers
On Monday, Feb. 6, the Concordia Lanes Junior Bowling League bowlers met yet again for a night of fun, competitive play.
As a result, six bowlers came away with the top scores for the week in the three divisions of the junior bowling league: Bantams, Preps, and Junior/Majors.
All of these six bowlers have attained the top spot before for bowling, so recognition is no surprise to them for their hard work and determination on the lanes each week.
For instance, in the Bantams league, Brooklynn Wilkinson made it another week on the high scorers list. This week she bowled a 100 game and a 186 series.
Also making the list for the Bantams was Noel Capodanno with a 70 and a 139 series.
For the Preps, Chad Morgan made the list for the second week in the row with a 149 game and a 427 series. Right along with him for the Preps was Maci McCoy with a 111 game and a 308 series.
Lastly, for the Junior/Majors, Morgan Dawley has kept her spot on top for the girls with a 137 game and a 385 series.
Showing everyone else in the league up with his extremely high score was Kevin Jenks who earned a 221 game and a 612 series.
The bowlers will meet again on Monday, Feb. 13 to see if any other bowlers can push these high scorers off the list.
