bbSTATELINE – The Stateline Generals Travel Baseball Program will hold an open tryout Saturday Nov. 14 at the Stateline Sports Indoor Center in Machesney Park at 8 a.m. This tryout is open to all baseball players in the 2016-2019 high school class.

The Stateline Generals travel program is a elite baseball programs that currently has players from all over the Wisconsin and Illinois Stateline area from communities such as Rockford, Byron, Oregon, Rochelle, McHenry, Woodstock, Lake Geneva, Beloit, Madison, Elgin, Dekalb, Belvidere, Rockton/Roscoe, Poplar Grove, Freeport, Janesville, Crystal Lake, and more.

The day will begin with late sign-ups and player stretching from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. From 9 a.m. to noon, players will have their work-out consisting of first to home sprint, catchers throw o second for POP time, pitchers will throw a 25 pitch bullpen, outfielders throw for velocity, infielders field grounders and throw to first for velocity, and each player will take a round of BP in the cage.

All players will be evaluated during the workout and Player Acceptance Invitations will be sent out to players’ e-mails within 24 hours of the camp.
