Stillman Valley Fall Festival announces winners
STILLAMN VALLEY – The Stillman Valley Fall Festival Steering Committee would like to announce the winners from this year’s Fall Festival events. Congratulations to all of the winners!
The Stillman Valley Fall Festival Parade Committee would like to thank everyone that participated in the parade. In the Business Category, the winners are: 1st place –Valley Auto Care, 2nd place – Cultra Family, 3rd place –Stillman Bank.The winner in the Religious category is: 1st place – Emmanuel Lutheran Church. The winner in the Community Organizations category is: 1st place – Julia Hull District Library. The winners in the Youth in Community category are: 1st place –Cub Scout Troop #315, 2nd place – Ogle Jolly 4-H Club.
The Car Show awarded trophies to over 100 winners. The “Best Of” winners included: Village President’s Choice – Patrick O’Hare; Longest Ownership – Jim Todd; Longest Distance – Jeff Lufter; Above and Beyond – Ricky Mueller; 25th Entry – Donna & John Morse; Del “Tootie” Hall Memorial – Nancy Gill; EveretteMcNames Memorial – Dave Minnick; Jim Newcomer Memorial – Dennis Gaylord; Ronald Eller Memorial – AJ Reints; Georgia Berens Memorial – Burt Laird; Exelon’s Choice – Scott & Sandy Greenfield; SVFF Chairman’s Choice – Steve Rosa; Best Paint – Ken Evans; Best Interior – T.J. Gwizdala; Best Engine – Mike & Kathy Blaser; Best Ford – Danny Thiessen; Best Pontiac – Gary Firch; Best Mopar – Dale Jurgensen; Best Chevy – Dave Banes; Best Rat Rod – Kevin Carter; Best Truck – Joe Billings; Best Custom – Mark & Sandy Heckman; Best Orphan – Bill Powers; Best Corvette – Ron Anderson; Best Under Construction – Dan Kunce; Best Street Rod – Al Gorski; Best Special Interest – Jerry Knuth; Best Street Machine – Bill Steinborn; Best Import – Tom & Judy Cunningham; Best Original Restored – Dave & Cindy Anderson; Best Motorcycle – Terry Warner; and Best of Show – Louie Barker. Trophies were also awarded to the Top 85 entries receiving the most votes and to winners of the car show games.
